🔧 STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

1️⃣ Remove the Handle and Cover Strip

Open the window fully and unscrew the handle. Remove any plastic cover strip hiding the mechanism screws.

2️⃣ Unscrew the Lock Mechanism

Locate the screws along the locking strip and remove them carefully. Keep them safe — you may reuse them later.

3️⃣ Slide Out the Old Lock

Pull the mechanism from the window frame channel. If it’s stuck, gently tap it loose using the screwdriver handle.

4️⃣ Measure the Lock Length

Measure the full metal strip end-to-end. Common lengths are 400 mm – 1200 mm. Match this size before fitting a new one.

5️⃣ Fit and Test the New Lock

Slide the new mechanism into the same slot, screw it securely, then test handle movement and locking points to ensure smooth engagement.
